The refill for the dish brush is neither varnished, glued, nor painted. Completely natural: cheaper, smarter, and entirely plastic-free is a nice trio.

Pour very hot water and a few drops of dish soap into a deep bowl. Place the brush bristles-down into the bowl, let it soak for about fifteen minutes, rinse thoroughly, and let it dry completely. Store in a well-ventilated and dry place between each use.
