The book David-Andersen 1876-2026 is a historical account of the goldsmith firm David-Andersen's journey through generations.

The book is launched in connection with David-Andersen's 150th anniversary in 2026 and marks the legacy of one of Norway's most renowned goldsmiths. Through 150 years of Norwegian goldsmithing, the book tells the story of David himself, the firm's development through generations, and the iconic jewelry and hollowware that have made their mark on Norwegian design history. The book is richly illustrated with beautiful images.

The text was written by Mats Linder, while the graphic design was developed by Linda from Studigeist.

Mats Linder is a writer and author and produces books about Norwegian design at a breakneck pace. He wants to focus on design and handicrafts from the Scandinavian countries - Scandinavian Design, and aims to raise interest and knowledge about design from Scandinavia by publishing biographies of designers, company reviews and reproducing old advertising. He also wants to focus on what is moving within the design scene today and interviews designers and business leaders who have something on their mind.
