Noah is an elegant coat made from soft, recycled wool. The coat is lined and has a classic fit with a collar, concealed button fastening, angled side pockets and a mid-calf length. A timeless, beautiful and highly functional coat.

The wool used in the coat is 85% recycled and 15% virgin wool from Romania. The recycled wool is an innovative material from Manteco®, reflecting Aiayu’s commitment to circular production and reducing the use of new resources. The recycling process uses both surplus material from textile production and pre-used materials, which are sorted, mechanically recycled and processed without the use of water or dyes. The result is a high-quality wool fabric that retains the original qualities of the material.

Aiayu – pronounced [ai-ya-yu] – means ‘soul’ in Aymara, an indigenous language of Bolivia. The label was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann with the aim of creating products with consideration for the environment, the people who make them and those who wear them.

Fabrics are selected for their texture and tactile qualities, with particular attention to how they feel against the skin. The soft, natural colour palette allows the materials and yarns to take centre stage, often in their natural shades without the use of chemical dyes.

The garments are made in Bolivia, India and Nepal and are closely connected to their origins and the people who produce them.
