Inside Information: Sneakerheads Poster 50x70cm
The poster celebrates some of the greatest moments in the history of the modern sneaker, all hidden inside the iconic shoe.
Beginning with the invention of vulcanized rubber by Charles Goodyear in 1839 and including Jesse Owens' dominance at Dassler's 1936 Berlin Olympics, Bill Bowerman's infamous experiments with his wife's waffle iron, the invention of AIR technology by NASA engineer Marion Franklin Rudy, the launch of the Reebok InstaPump Fury and the realization of Nike's first self lacing trainers, designed by Tiffany Beers and released 26 years after they were first featured in Back to the Future Part II.
Concept and art direction by Dorothy and illustration by Malik Thomas.
