Bine is a classic cardigan with a short silhouette, making it an elegant statement piece that you can wear throughout the seasons. Knitted in a characteristic herringbone rib knit, with buttons, classic ribbed edges, dropped shoulders and patch pockets at the front. Made from 100% Sartuul wool.

100% Sartuul wool, a rare breed of nomadic sheep from the Mongolian steppes. The wool comes from the "Green Gold" project, a Swiss development program that organizes cooperatives of nomadic herders in the Mongolian steppes. The project helps the herders preserve their traditional lifestyle through artisanal production of wool from Mongolian cultural treasures - such as Sartuul and yak.

Aiayu - pronounced [ai-ya-yu] - means 'soul' in the indigenous Aymara language of Bolivia. Their label was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann to create products with consideration for the environment, the worker and the user. Fabrics are chosen for their structures and tactile properties, how they feel against the skin. The gentle, natural palette reveals materials and yarns primarily in their natural color without the use of chemical dyes. The garments are made in Bolivia, India and Nepal and are closely linked to their origins and people.

  • Wash gently by hand at 30 degrees with high-quality wool soap.
  • Leave the garment in soapy water for 10–15 minutes. Rinse in water at 30 degrees. Avoid twisting the garment during washing. Dry flat.
