The Umini dress is an elegant denim dress in organic cotton that will quickly become a favorite in your closet. The dress has a relaxed fit and has nice details such as a neckline with a shirt collar and buttons, cuffs on the sleeves, sewn-in pockets on the side and nice seam details on the back.

The cotton is from regenerative agriculture under Chetna; a non-profit program that helps improve the livelihoods of farmers. Chetna practices agroecological farming, which goes beyond organic farming in improving local ecosystems and biodiversity. The cotton is GOTS certified, locally sourced and refined in India at a solar-powered and BSCI-certified facility, ensuring a high level of social responsibility and environmental stewardship.

Aiayu - pronounced [ai-ya-yu] - means 'soul' in the indigenous Aymara language of Bolivia. Their label was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann to create products with consideration for the environment, the worker and the user. Fabrics are chosen for their structures and tactile properties, how they feel against the skin. The gentle, natural palette reveals materials and yarns primarily in their natural color without the use of chemical dyes. The garments are made in Bolivia, India and Nepal and are closely linked to their origins and people.
