A soft and roomy tunic in organic cotton. The tunic has many nice details, such as a collar with a button placket that goes past the chest, a low chest pocket, dropped shoulders, cuffs on the sleeves and a nice seam detail on the back.

The cotton is from regenerative agriculture under Chetna; a non-profit program that helps improve the livelihoods of farmers. Chetna practices agroecological farming, which goes beyond organic farming in improving local ecosystems and biodiversity. The cotton is GOTS certified, locally sourced and refined in India at a solar-powered and BSCI-certified facility, ensuring a high level of social responsibility and environmental stewardship.

Aiayu - pronounced [ai-ya-yu] - means 'soul' in the indigenous Aymara language of Bolivia. Their label was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann to create products with consideration for the environment, the worker and the user. Fabrics are chosen for their structures and tactile properties, how they feel against the skin. The gentle, natural palette reveals materials and yarns primarily in their natural color without the use of chemical dyes. The garments are made in Bolivia, India and Nepal and are closely linked to their origins and people.
