Gemma Koomen creates paintings and illustrations in gouache and ink about the little things she loves; real and imaginary wildflowers and plants, little people in big places, animals you might have a conversation with, thoughtful objects and tiny homes.

With her illustrated world, she aims to open a small tenderness and peace, which in turn helps her (and hopefully others) to notice and enjoy the beauty in small things. Work is a constant opportunity to embrace imperfection and seek simplicity. For the first time on demand, she is selling a small quantity of high quality Giclee prints, greeting cards and other nice things online.

Gemma Koomen lager malerier og illustrasjoner i gouache og blekk om de små tingene hun elsker; ekte og imaginære villblomster og planter, små mennesker på store steder, dyr som du kanskje kan ha en samtale med, gjennomtenkte gjenstander og små hjem.
