Aiayu Phillipa Pants Risotto

Kr 3.050

A relaxed but still refined trouser made of soft and sturdy linen. Philippa has straight legs and a classic high waist with soft elastic in the waistband that makes it flexible. Elegant pockets at the back and additional pockets at the side.

The fabric is made of 100% rice-dyed linen. In collaboration with its rice-growing neighbour, the Italian weaving mill has used the residual water from rice production to dye the linen. It is a gentle process without chemicals, which ensures a sensible use of resources and which is not harmful to us or nature. The shirt is made according to the highest European standards, and uses both technical and tailoring expertise.

The trousers go well with the Bibi Shirt.

Aiayu - pronounced [ai-ya-yu] - means 'soul' in the indigenous Aymara language of Bolivia. Their label was founded in 2005 by Maria Høgh Heilmann to create products with consideration for the environment, the worker and the user. Fabrics are chosen for their structures and tactile properties, how they feel against the skin. The gentle, natural palette reveals materials and yarns primarily in their natural color without the use of chemical dyes. The garments are made in Bolivia, India and Nepal and are closely linked to their origins and people.
