The iconic motif on the placemat celebrates Christmas as the feast of the heart and is a nostalgic signature design.

With its strong damask weave in 50% linen and 50% cotton, the rustic placemat is a timeless renewal for the many cozy moments of Christmas.

The motif was designed by Bodil Bødtker-Næss, who was part of the inner circle of textile artists around Georg Jensen Damask in the 1970s, and who is also behind the classic Easter design from the same period.
For more than 45 years, the braided Christmas hearts and stylized fir branches have been synonymous with Christmas spirit, and the design is an indispensable part of Christmas in many homes.

The dark green color is one of Christmas' classic shades, and radiates Christmas as in the old days. The color creates an atmosphere around the table and is suitable for all occasions in the month of December.

Cloth napkins in linen or damask will emphasize the atmospheric expression.
