The tableware in the Oiva series with the Uimari pattern is made of white stoneware that is dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer safe.

The striped Uimari pattern (swimmers) gives associations to graceful swimming trunks or to men's swimwear from the early 20th century. It is made by Erja Hirvi, who has used paper clips to create the pattern.

Marimekko is a Finnish design house that is recognized worldwide for its original prints and colors. Founded in 1951 by the visionary Armi Ratia, Marimekko is one of the world's first true lifestyle brands that combines fashion, bags and accessories as well as interiors in a timeless, sustainable and functional design.
